New Features

1. Mute Function in Class Group Chat

The class group chat now supports a mute function, allowing lecturers and assistants to better control the order in the class.

  • Click on Mute to enable or disable the mute function.
    Click the Unmute button to unmute and resume chatting.
  • After lecturers or assistants enable mute for students, all students will not be able to speak in the class chat area.
    If a single student is muted, they will not be able to speak in the class chat area.
  • Muting a single student
    For historical messages posted by a student, on the computer, lecturers or assistants can right-click the user's name + chat message, and on mobile devices, long press the user's name + chat message to reveal the Mute/Unmute button.

In the class details under the student list, lecturers or assistants can right-click on a student's avatar and name on the computer, and on mobile devices, tap the "More" option after the student's name to reveal the "Mute/Unmute" button.

  • Mute All Students
    In the chat message window, there is a "Mute All Students/Unmute All Students" button displayed.

2. Upgraded A-Board

A-Board has been upgraded with new submission logic and a grid view, making it easier for teachers to check the submission status after students have submitted their answers.

  • After the lecturer posts a question on the small blackboard for answering, a Submit button is displayed for the students.
  • Once a student has submitted their answer, their button changes to Edit. By clicking Edit, they can make changes and resubmit their answers.
  • When students click the Submit button, they can submit their answers, and the lecturer can see a submission indicator, as well as the number of submissions on the answer board.
  • Lecturers can switch the display mode at the top of the answer board, choosing between a single answer board or a four-grid or nine-grid mode.
  • By clicking again on the selected answer board, lecturers can immediately enter an individual student's answer board.
  • When the answer board is in four-grid or nine-grid mode, there are left and right arrows (< >) displayed on the sides of the answer board. Lecturers can click these to switch to the previous or next page of students' answer boards.

3. Automatic Recognition of Drawn Shapes

When users draw circles or rectangles with the brush tool, if the shape meets the criteria for a perfect circle or square, an auxiliary line hint for a perfect circle or square will be displayed.

  • For squares, the side length auxiliary lines are displayed.
  • For perfect circles, the center and diameter auxiliary lines are displayed.

4. Private Chat Mute

For institutions that enable private chat, lecturers and assistants can activate or deactivate private chat to ensure classroom order is maintained.

  • A new Open Private Chat/Close Private Chat button has been added to the chat area for lecturers and assistants, which can be clicked to operate the private chat feature.
  • With private chat enabled, users can send messages to their private chat contacts.
  • With private chat disabled, users cannot send messages to their private chat contacts.

5. Customized Message Notification Settings

A new "Message Notification Type" feature has been added in the classroom, allowing users to set the types of messages they wish to receive during class.

  • In the classroom settings under "Accessibility", users can set their "Message Notification Type".
  • The "Message Notification Type" settings only apply to the individual user and will remember the last setting according to the user's preference.

6. Quiz Serial Number Setting

The Quiz now has a new "Automatic Question Number Generation" setting, allowing lecturers and assistants to adjust Quiz question numbers according to the objective question numbers of the test paper.

  • With "Automatic Question Number Generation" enabled, the question numbers for Quiz are automatically generated.
  • With "Automatic Question Number Generation" disabled, lecturers and assistants can reset the question numbers for Quiz.
  • "Automatic Question Number Generation" is enabled by default and remembers the user's last setting.

7. Eraser Shortcut Key

A new shortcut key for the eraser has been added, which can be used to toggle between the blackboard tools.

Optimization Features

1. Complete Upgrade of the Audio Player

Windows/Mac

  • The PC version of the audio player has been completely upgraded.
  • Supports simultaneous viewing of course materials while playing audio.
  • Functional modules involved: Task System, Cloud Storage, Pre-study Resources, Review Resources.
