New Feature

1. Video Wall

Windows/Mac:
Instructors/assistants can use the Video Wall feature to view more student videos and manage classroom order more efficiently.

  • The Video Wall feature has higher requirements for computer performance. Required specifications: CPU must be Intel i7 or above, and memory must be 8GB or above.

  • Instructors/assistants can click on the Video Wall icon in the Toolbox to open the Video Wall.

When the Video Wall is enabled, the classroom layout in Blackboard mode will automatically switch to a single-row view, and in Shared mode it will switch to a single-column view. Instructors/assistants cannot adjust this.

The user's seat area will be hidden when the Video Wall is enabled, and only the Video Wall will be displayed.


  • Instructors/assistants' Video Walls do not affect each other, including Video Wall settings, video sorting, etc.

  • The Video Wall window can be moved to another screen and supports maximizing, minimizing, and restoring the window.

  • The Video Wall supports setting the window layout.

  • Clicking the <> button allows you to flip to the previous/next video.

  • You can drag a video to another position on the Video Wall to change its location.
    Double-clicking a video on the Video Wall/Blackboard allows you to bring the video to the foreground or send it to the background.

  • When recording is enabled in the classroom, the Video Wall will not be recorded.

2. Microphone Recording Playback

iPad/Android Pad/iOS/Android:
The "Microphone Recording Playback" feature has been added to the Entry Check, which allows users to record their own voice for playback to check if the microphone on their device is working properly.

  • Clicking the "Test Microphone" button will automatically enable the recording function and record 5 seconds of audio by default.

  • After recording is finished, the recorded audio will automatically play back.

  • If you do not hear the playback sound or if the sound quality is poor, you can adjust the volume and click "Test Again" to continue testing.

Optimized Feature

1. Class Running Late Prompt

Windows/Mac/iPad/iOS:
The "Class Running Late Prompt" has been enhanced by adding a "Close" button, which allows users to close the prompt without blocking the classroom interface. When the class is delayed again during the same session, the prompt will still be displayed to ensure that users receive timely information.


2.Minimizing the classroom window

Windows/Mac:
If all users minimize the classroom window on the computer, the classroom window will not automatically pop up when any event is triggered within the classroom.


3.Pause recording when switching to background

Windows/Mac/iPad/iOS:
When the instructor switches the program to the background, the recording will be automatically paused. This information will be communicated through a strong prompt on the computer and a system prompt on iOS and iPad devices.


4.Cloud recording upload

Windows/Mac/iPad/iOS:
When poor network conditions lead to delayed upload of some recording content, inform users in a timely manner to ensure the normal upload of recordings.

  • When poor network conditions lead to delayed upload of some recording content, a prompt will be given to inform the lecturer that the cloud recording is abnormal. Please check the network settings in a timely manner. Stopping recording or exiting the classroom will result in the loss of XX minutes of recording content.

  • If there is a delay in uploading some of the recorded content due to poor network connectivity, and the instructor wants to leave the classroom, stop or restart the recording during the recording process, the instructor will be informed about the progress of uploading the recorded content. If the instructor chooses to leave the classroom or restart the recording, the original recorded content will be lost.

5.Raise hand special effect hiding setting

Windows/Mac/iPad/iOS:
Teachers can choose whether to hide the raise hand special effect on all user videos in the classroom to reduce the situation where students frequently raise their hands for fun.

  • Teachers can click on 【Settings】-【Others】 in the classroom to choose whether to show or hide the raise hand special effect.

6.Clarity indication in the classroom

Windows/Mac/iPad/Android Pad/iOS/Android:
When the classroom clarity is HD/Full HD, the title bar of the blackboard mode displays the corresponding clarity indication of the current classroom.


7.Device performance mode

Windows/Mac/iPad/Android Pad/iOS/Android:
Based on the device performance and the current low performance mode, the blackboard mode title bar displays the corresponding mode of the device for the classroom effect.
